      [CAD] Stripe Integrated Payment Processing Fees

      The fees for payment processing with Stripe are as follows:

      • 2.9% + 30 cents for transactions with Canadian credit cards
      • 3.9% + $0.30 for international cards
      • 1% + $.40 for EFT (electronic funds transfer) transactions, no matter the region
      This fee is deducted at the time of processing by Stripe, prior to being payed out to your bank account. 

      It is important to know that any disputed credit card payments will incur a fee of $15.00 CAD, charged to you by Stripe if resolved in favour of the cardholder. However, if the dispute is resolved in your favour, Stripe will fully refund you this fee. For disputed EFT transactions there will be a charge of $5 CAD. This type of dispute is final and a merchant cannot submit evidence to contest it.
